I first heard this song visiting my Peace Corps friend Chuck in his apartment in Ithaca, New York. I had just come home and was doing a grand driving tour visiting a lot of friends. Songs bring back specific moments, just like fragrances.

Loved this song! I had never heard of this artist, but a great song. You post such different types of music. Always a pleasure to check it out.
It's an oldie, Peggy, 60s folk. Ralph McTell is a Brit who is still active--"Streets Of London" was his biggeste US splash.
